The Story So Far

Halcyon started with the realisation that eating better improved how I felt – but not what I wanted to eat. Improving my diet didn’t get rid of my craving for snacks as indulgent as the Mars bars I grew up on.
Every cleaner alternative presented the same trade-off. Better ingredients meant an eating experience that felt like a compromise. Better tasting options had ingredients lists that flattered to deceive.
So I set out to create something that:
- gave me the same pleasure as the junk food I grew up on;
- made me feel great; and
- fit my active lifestyle and long work hours.
After 307 days, 987 batches and over 2,200 prototype bars, we had something truly indulgent made with ingredients we are proud to list on the back: protein confection.
